We've found a variety of places for our guests to stay, ranging from inexpensive chain hotels to decadent bed and breakfasts. We hope you'll find something here to suit you. If you don't, please let us know so we can help you find something just right! If you're flying in, you might like to know that the Edgewood Club and our house lie to the east of the city, and the airport lies on the other side. In other words, unfortunately there's not going to be any lodging that'll be convenient to both the airport and to us. Sorry :( But we'll do all we can to help you with transportation once you're here. I've colored bed-and-breakfast or inn rows gray and hotel rows white to help you spot what you're looking for more easily. The color coding in the Travel Time and Map columns indicates distance from the Edgewood Club: the warmer the color, the closer it is (to a point--after about 35 minutes, I figure travel time isn't your big criterion, so I didn't color code travel times higher than that). The Name column is, I hope, self-explanatory: the name of the facility. The Price column gives a price range as of the last update (check the bottom of the page). It's just to give you an idea, of course, of how the different accommodations compare price-wise to one another, not to give quotes. I'll probably reserve a block of rooms at one hotel, and I'll indicate that one both in the Name and in the Price columns. The Travel Times column indicates the driving distance between the accommodation and the ceremony and reception site, the Edgewood Club, at least according to Rand McNally (which appears, in my opinion, to be merely a factor of distance and speed limit, not traffic). The Map column gives a map (click it to get an interactive one) to indicate the its location in relation to the Edgewood Club (which is also very close to our house). If you want the scoop on where you're considering staying, just ask--we'll be happy to help you find just the right place. |
This version of this page contains map images and may take about three minutes to load when viewing over a 28.8kbps dial-up modem connection. If that's what you've got, be patient and go do something else for a bit while this loads. |
